Sugar Mountain Center builds upon the vision and mission of Smoky Mountain Corps by working to support resilient community, fostering environmental stewardship, and promoting sustainable agriculture practices.

Sugar Mountain Center  offers off-site services such as site consultations designs designs, garden installation projects, and private or custom trainings to aid in transitioning homes and landscapes to be more resilient and less impactful. More information can be found here.

We grow food, herbs, and beneficial plants using sustainable practices, and source many of our own ingredients used to make New Moon Botanicals drinks and products for sale at local farmers markets.

Ultimately, we envision the farm and facilities will support trainings, retreats, community events, and service learning programs in conservation skills, permaculture, sustainable agriculture, leadership development, and low-impact living. Though education, hands-on experience, and service, we seek to support health and connection in our community.
